Adriatic Spirit - Mediterranean Adventure

Adriatic Spirit – Mediterranean Adventure in Croatia, Albania, Greece, and Italy

The Adriatic Sea; golden beaches, golden sunshine, and gleaming ancient cities.  There is a romance to it all; the scenery, the history, the food, and the people. A visit to this region of the Mediterranian Sea east of the Italian peninsula is definitely on my bucket list.

I have found a company that has created amazing adventures where you can also meet new people, They cater to singles from students to active retirees.  Today I’m highlighting their “Adriatic Spirit,” an 8-day package which is designed for young professionals, singles, and students ages 18-35.  The adventure begins in Croatia, traveling south along the Adriatic Sea visiting several stops on the way to the Greek island of Corfu.  From Corfu, you cross the Adriatic Sea to Italy.  A few more dream stops including on the Italian peninsula, including Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, ending finally in Rome.

Even if you aren’t single, read along and see how you can book your own adventure at one or more of these amazing locations!

 Dubrovnik, Croatia

You will start in Dubrovnik, gorgeous jewel on the Adriatic Sea.  Stunningly beautiful, the ancient fortified city’s white limestone walls gleam and the clay tile roofs glow.  The city seems to have been carved out of the mountain behind.  Walk the beautiful Old Town and visit the cafe.  Visit the Franciscan Monastery and its ancient pharmacy and cloister gardens.  Enjoy the view or swim in the water at a Cafe Buza, a beach and bar carved out of the ocean cliffs.  If you are into night clubs, they have those too.

I could definitely use a vacation like this! I could spend forever in a lawn chair overlooking that view of Greece! And who wouldn’t love to go to Italy. Next year is a our 10th anniversary. I wonder if hubby would be interested?

All of these photos are gorgeous! I went to Dubrovnik during my first trip to Europe. We took a boat out each day and went to a small little restaurant that served the best fresh seafood. You make me want to go back.
